Poland at CeBIT 2014 fair
Another edition of CeBIT fair will be organised on 10-14 March 2014 in Hannover. This year’s edition of the software, hardware and state-of-the-art IT technology fair is devoted to the idea of Datability, or the ability to use large volumes of data – big data – sustainably and responsibly. The Ministry of Economy and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development invite you to visit the Polish stand in hall 5, booth E48.
The top theme at CeBIT 2014 fair is the idea of Datability, or the ability to use large volumes of data – big data – sustainably and responsibly. The event’s agenda includes topics related to effective use of big data and discussions on new information processing possibilities. In five days, many thematic conferences and guest speeches will be held. The most distinguished speakers are:
- Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple;
- Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia;
- Eugene Kaspersky, CEO at Kaspersky Lab;
- Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen from Mobile Dropbox;
- Boris Wolter from PayPal;
- Stefan Zilch from Spotify.

In 2013, Poland was CeBIT strategic partner – it promoted the potential of the Polish ICT sector as well as the most attractive tourist and investment regions in Poland. The purpose of Poland’s participation in this year’s edition of CeBIT in Hannover is to promote the potential of the Polish ICT sector in the international arena. The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy organises the Polish national stand whose surface area is 504 sq.m. It will be used by representatives of the regions and business environment institutions from the IT sector to present their information technology offer and distribute information and promotion materials of companies from a given region. Poland’s presence in Hannover also consists in the participation of companies in Future Match brokerage event and presence of project team “We Support e-Business” that will promote the planned conference for the ICT sector in Central and Eastern Europe. Booth 48 will also feature a TV studio web.gov.pl which will cover major fair events and broadcast reviews of state-of-the-art trends and technologies. We invite you to visit hall 5, booth 48.
